Fernando PÉrez CÁrdenas joins Bosch Communications Systems

Bosch Communications Systems is pleased to announce that, as of January 2009, Fernando Pérez Cárdenas is its Sales Manager for the Andean Region (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile). Mr. Cárdenas, a native of Lima, Peru, brings a wealth of experience to Bosch Communications Systems’ South America team, which is continuing to expand in order to keep pace with their growth in the region. Mr. Cárdenas will report to Franck Fabry, Director of Americas Export Sales, Bosch Communications Systems.

Prior to assuming his position at Bosch, Mr. Cárdenas studied sound engineering for five years at the University of Technology in Santiago, Chile. Upon graduation, Mr. Cárdenas began a career as a freelance sound engineer, working in recording studios and mixing live sound as a FOH engineer in Peru, and for two years as a sound engineer at Lima-based Mega Studio. In addition to his freelance work in South America, Mr. Cárdenas also worked for three years in Spain as a freelance FOH engineer for theaters in Madrid and Málaga. He welcomes the challenge of bringing the Bosch family of products to greater prominence in South America.

“I’m very happy to join the Bosch Communications Systems team,” says Mr. Cárdenas. “And I’m very excited to bring its family of pro audio brands to Latin America. I am particularly excited to grow the Electro-Voice brand in this region. My goal is to help ensure EV products become the first choice for any major audio application in South America. With new technologies like NetMax and IRIS-Net, we will lead the way forward. From students at my former college to my colleagues in live sound production, I have a personal, hands-on understanding of what this region needs, and now I’m working with the best people and products to raise the bar for audio here.”

“The addition of Fernando Pérez to the Latin American sales team will allow us to better focus on the Ecuadorian, Peruvian, Bolivian, and Chilean markets” comments Franck Fabry, Director of Americas Export Sales, Bosch Communications Systems. “Fernando’s enthusiasm and familiarity with professional audio, intercom, and conferencing equipment will be an enormous asset to our Bosch partners. He will provide an essential point of contact for clients seeking help with product specifications, recommending the appropriate equipment solutions for their applications. We are delighted to have Fernando on board and look forward to having him travel throughout the region to train an even greater number of end-users.”

Klark Teknik was responsible for one of the world’s first digital delay and digital reverb units, however it was their concepts for equalisation devices that really changed the world of professional audio resulting in the DN370 and the famous DN360. Today Klark Teknik continues to bring innovation in design and dedication to engineering and sonic quality in both the analogue and digital realm of signal processing, with the Square ONE and Show Command ranges updating the brand.
