PURPLE PATCH FOR KLARK TEKNIK’S SQUARE ONE DYNAMICS AS SALES TOP 24,000 CHANNELS

Klark Teknik’s Square ONE range has flown out of the door since its launch, and sales of the Square ONE Dynamics unit – popularly known as ‘The SQ1D’ - have now topped 3,000. This means that well over 24,000 channels of SQ1D are being used by sound engineers the world over.

A recent convert to SQ1D is Paul Owen, monitor engineer for Metallica and VP of US rental company Thunder Audio, which owns several of the units.

“I’ve been using the SQ1D gate/compressor unit on Metallica’s European stadium run, and it has to be one of the best gates I’ve ever used,” he says. “To be able to monitor the side chain filter is yet another wonderful idea from Klark Teknik.”

"You know you're onto a winner with a product when you please both user and owner,” says Midas and Klark Teknik sales and marketing director David Cooper. “Owners like the flexibility of having eight channels of compression, gates, limiters and expanders in a rugged and reliable 3RU box, while users love the controls, long throw metering and most importantly the sound - especially the Vintage setting!"

The Square ONE range is designed for ease of use and good sound at an affordable price point. The SQ1D features eight channels of flexible, configurable, high-performance dynamics processing crammed into the 3U unit.
